Evening walks to sky gaze, 2024

This Autumn, I adopted a daily ritual of evening walks to observe the sky as the sun sinks into the earth. In the week before Winter arrived we were presented with luminous blue clouds and planes of gold above the sunken sun. This work of silk enveloping iridescent blue illuminates as light hits it, honouring the enchanting beauty of clouds during sunset, a salute to the natural world and the enrichment these small but precious moments add to our everyday when we choose to witness them.
